move Granada registration ALC984S

Hi everyone , I am new to this site and,was really after some help , I am trying to trace my fathers mk2 Granada 2.8gl in blue , I have checked the dvla and it was last taxed in 1993 :( , I am hoping that it has not been used by the banger boys and has been stored some where , is there any way I would be able to find it , any help would be appreciated
