I know this car has been detailed to the last nut and bolt. But it is incredibly clean.

Thanks Ian!

It's a challenge keeping the old feller running, but I guess that's true for most folks on here! I hope I might find some of the previous owners of PWR 233P (and in his previous guises as 924 JOE and KSM 13P).

Anyway about the DLM, it is a one of 1950's special.

Hi Ian

I work at the publishing company TRMG who produce the showguide for The MG Show and wondered if you would grant me permission to use your picture in our showguide this year?

We would of course credit the photo to yourself or the photographer who took the image.

Please can you get back to me ASAP regarding this as we are on a very tight deadline. If you would prefer to call me my number is 01707 273 999 ext 221

Many Thanks
Emma

Thanks Ian, I had to double check before I could believe it, 45 years with the same family. I've done my best to keep the car exactly as it was, it's like a time machine. Sent the previous owner loads of photos of our first trip out when it finally made it back on the road. He's unfortunately had a stroke so no longer drives. This will make you laugh. When I got it, it came on a trailer as it had not been used for eleven years. I have AA home start so being cheeky I called them to say my car wouldn't start. True to their word they came out and got the old girl going! The engineer was lovely and really enjoyed the challenge. Ok so she needed a full carb re build etc but she ran! What an advert for the AA!
Kind regards Steve

Hi Ian and a Happy New Year to you and all our classic car buddies. Thankyou for your kind words about the Rover 2000 TC (Twin Carb). The few times that i have driven it have proved to be a very pleasant experince that takes me back to my early twenties when i owned a white Rover 2000 SC (Single Carb) with a rare red interior. I then sold that and bought my first 1967 wooden chassis Marcos. Five Marcos cars later came the 1997 4.6 V8 that you see in the pictures. Talk soon. Regards Stuart Apps.

I tried to add some more details and photos on the introduction thread, didn't load.

The DLM is a one off.

Google >

 'DLM rebuild'

and / or  'DLM 1 Restoration'

I did a write up of the car on both sites, old classic and thanet classics

A unique and FUN car.
